We are a dedicated organization focused on the treatment and care of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. We are currently looking for Care Coordinators to join our team. In this role, Care Coordinators will assist clients in overcoming barriers to treatment and ensure their engagement in addiction services. They will model effective recovery skills and coping mechanisms while providing hope and encouragement to clients on their recovery journey.
Shifts Available:
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients in a courteous, empathetic, and professional manner at all times.
Maintain regular communication with counselors and nursing staff regarding client care and concerns.
Foster positive interactions and discussions among clients and staff.
Assist in transporting clients throughout the facility.
Ensure that clients follow the scheduled program activities.
Conduct regular room checks for all clients.
Perform census checks every two hours (four times per shift), including after meals.
Monitor clients for any inconsistent behavior and report to the appropriate staff (Clinical, Nursing, etc.), documenting this in your shift report.
Help de-escalate situations involving clients exhibiting challenging behaviors.
Oversee client linen and laundry management.
Check and restock linen supplies as needed.
Collect dirty laundry and prepare it for housekeeping.
Deliver clean laundry back to clients.
Search and document the belongings of new admissions.
Assist staff in screening clients and their belongings for contraband.
Serve as a role model for both clients and peers!
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of relevant work experience.

Strong communication abilities.

Empathy - understanding clients are striving for improvement.
Emotional intelligence - recognizing that clients may react strongly to minor issues, which is not personal!
Ability and willingness to de-escalate difficult situations.
A desire to learn and grow.
