Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic is tasked with performing essential repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities, covering areas such as plumbing, electrical work, basic carpentry, HVAC systems, and general building systems.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment and identify repairs needed.
• Diagnose and address operational issues using blueprints or manuals when necessary.
• Perform non-specialized repairs, such as painting, drywall fixes, and door adjustments.
• Conduct routine maintenance on facility systems.
• Assist in keeping the facility clean and well-maintained.
• Ensure supplies and materials are stocked for maintenance tasks.
• Report safety concerns to the Director of Operations and other management staff.
• Adhere to Surfpoint Recovery dress code and complete daily assignments based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with power tools and cleaning equipment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with knowledge of safety practices.
