Purpose of Your Job Position
The primary purpose of your job position is to Manage the Restorative Nursing Program in concert with State and Federal regulations, the facilitys standards and the preferences of each Resident

General Responsibilities
Residents Rights
Restorative Nurse Responsibilities
Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs restorative nursing programs for residents
Educates facility staff in restorative nursing and functional maintenance programs and its execution in a 24-hour per day program
Educates residents and familes regarding resident safety
Maintains complete and accurate records of restorative nursing and functionl maintenance assesments and programs
Coordinates restorative nursing programs with therapy service provider to provide transitional services to facility residents
Attends care plan conferences as required
Participates in RAI (Resident Assessment Instrument) process as a representative of Restorative Nursing, compiles reports related to restorative nursing and functional maintenance programs.
Prepares and provides monthly reports on the Restorative Nursing and Functional Maintenance programs to the Director of Nursing to present to the Quality Assurance Commitee
Perform other duties as assigned

Experience
3 to 5 years experience as a Long Term Care Nurse
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state.
