General Maintenance Worker

The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine upkeep and repair tasks across assigned equipment and facilities. This includes work related to plumbing, electrical systems, basic carpentry, HVAC, and other building systems.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment and identify repair needs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or structural issues.
• Use blueprints or equipment manuals to plan repair tasks.
• Handle general repair duties, such as drywall patching, painting, and door fixes.
• Conduct routine building system maintenance.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and assist with upkeep.
• Order necessary materials and supplies for maintenance tasks.
• Report safety-related concerns to the Director of Operations and management.
• Adhere to Surfpoint Recovery dress code and adjust tasks as directed to meet facility needs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with power tools and cleaning equipment.
• Strong prioritization, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures.
