We are a healthcare organization focused on providing comprehensive care for individuals facing substance and alcohol use disorders. Our primary commitment is to our patients, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality of care. Our facility encompasses a full range of services, including detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy. We are currently seeking Full-Time Licensed Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team!

The LPN will deliver nursing care based on each patient's unique needs, adhering to established nursing standards and practices under the direction of a registered nurse.

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications promptly and safely in accordance with physician orders.
• Provide education to patients regarding their medications, documenting their understanding and compliance; notify a registered nurse or physician of any abnormal findings.
• Document all patient-related activities, including admissions, discharges, and emergency room visits, and alert the nursing team of any issues.
• Monitor and record the detoxification process, including patient behavioral responses, and communicate any concerns to nursing or medical staff.
• Document treatment interventions and the patients' responses, reporting any abnormalities to the registered nurse or physician.
• Collaborate with the treatment team on patient progress, informing the registered nurse or physician of any issues.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and vital sign monitoring as indicated by the treatment plan.
• Collect data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, including Census and Incident Reports, reporting any irregularities to the nursing or medical team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• Current certifications in CPR and BLS.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience in addiction treatment.
