We are an organization dedicated to the care and treatment of those affected by substance and alcohol use disorders. Our patients are our priority, and we consistently prioritize quality care. Our facility provides a comprehensive range of services, including detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy. We are currently looking for Full-Time Nursing Supervisor (LPN) to join our team!

As a LPN, you will provide individualized nursing care based on each client's needs, adhering to both dependent and independent nursing functions according to established standards and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer all medications safely and according to physician orders.
• Educate patients about their medications, documenting their understanding and any compliance issues; notify a registered nurse or physician of any abnormalities.
• Record all patient activities such as admissions, discharges, and emergency room visits, and notify the nursing team of any irregularities.
• Monitor and document the detoxification process and the patient's behavioral responses, alerting nursing or medical staff to any concerns.
• Document treatment interventions and patient responses, reporting any abnormalities to the registered nurse or physician.
• Communicate with the treatment team about the patient's treatment progress, notifying a registered nurse or physician of any issues.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as indicated by the treatment plan.
• Gather data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, including Census and Medication Event Report Forms, and report any abnormalities to nursing or medical staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• Valid CPR and BLS certifications.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience in addiction treatment.
