Environmental Health Aide

Surfpoint Recovery, a premier provider of substance use treatment, proudly maintains CARF certification and OASAS licensing. Our comprehensive services support individuals undergoing detox and rehabilitation. We're hiring an Environmental Health Aide to assist our housekeeping and facility team by keeping our environment safe, clean, and organized.

Available Shifts:

• Sunday-Thursday, 2 PM - 10 PM
• Monday, Wednesday-Saturday, 10 AM - 6 PM

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain supply rooms with organized cleaning products.
• Keep your cleaning cart in good order and stocked.
• Perform in-depth cleaning of rooms and shared spaces.
• Conduct inspections and minor maintenance on cleaning tools.
• Handle and track personal items for clients.
• Follow and implement infection control measures.
• Operate machinery for floor and carpet sanitation.

Basic Requirements:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare cleaning is beneficial.

Desirable Attributes:

• Reliable and detail-oriented.
• Experienced in facility sanitation.
• Self-motivated and able to work solo.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• English language proficiency.
