Licensed Charge Nurse

Surfpoint Recovery is dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance and alcohol use disorders. We provide comprehensive services, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy, with a strong emphasis on quality care. We are looking to hire Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team.

As LPN, you will deliver nursing care customized to patients' needs under the supervision of registered nurses. This role offers collaboration with skilled professionals and opportunities to expand your clinical expertise.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time: Three 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Part-time: Two 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM)

Key Duties:

• Administer medications safely and provide patient education on their use.
• Record patient activities and progress, reporting irregularities to the medical team.
• Monitor and document patient detoxification and recovery progress.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and take vital signs per care plans.
• Work closely with the treatment team to deliver exceptional care.
• Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) efforts by collecting and reporting relevant data.

Requirements:

• Accredited nursing degree with an active NY State License and CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in nursing, with addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer use and strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
