LPNs work within a framework of policies to ensure residents receive the best possible outcomes. They are responsible for overseeing admissions, transfers, and discharges, medication requisitions, and administration while adhering to all emergency and infection control policies. LPNs work with the interdisciplinary team to identify abnormal changes in resident condition and report them promptly

• The healthcare team communicates with the resident and their family members to ensure that they are informed about the admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Prescription requisitions handled by pharmacists and physicians
• Medication administration
• Adhering to infection prevention, emergency response, and other center policies is compulsory
• Optimal results for residents can only be achieved when working collaboratively with their interdisciplinary team
• It is important to report any unusual changes in a resident's condition to the appropriate personnel as soon as possible. This is a crucial aspect of providing high-quality care and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents

LPNs must also possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals:

• LPNs must be licensed by the State before they can practice nursing
• CPR Certification required
• An ideal candidate should possess at least two years of nursing experience
