Housekeeping Aide

Surfpoint Recovery stands out as an innovative treatment provider for those affected by substance use disorders. We are officially OASAS-licensed and CARF-certified, offering comprehensive care through inpatient detox and rehabilitation. We are hiring an Housekeeping Aide to assist our housekeeping and facilities operations by ensuring cleanliness and order throughout the facility.

Work Schedules:

• Sunday to Thursday (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
• Monday, Wednesday to Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Keep supply rooms tidy and well-stocked.
• Clean and maintain the supply cart.
• Handle thorough cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing.
• Maintain and inspect cleaning equipment.
• Keep track of patient clothing for returns.
• Stay updated on infection control best practices.
• Use machines to clean floors and carpets efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous work in a healthcare facility is a plus.

Skills Required:

• Efficiency, attention to detail, and professionalism.
• Self-driven and reliable with time management.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Fluent in English.
