We are currently hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As the RN Unit Manager, you will oversee high-quality nursing care, ensuring that care is delivered efficiently and effectively while supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing staff on the assigned unit. REGISTERED NURSE (RN) UNIT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report all cases of alleged violations, mistreatment, neglect, or abuse, including injuries of unknown origin.
  • Assist in interpreting facility policies and state laws as they relate to nursing services.
  • Participate in safety programs and procedures.
  • Inform the ADON of any nursing activities, needs, problems, or unusual events.
  • Recommend the purchase of supplies and equipment for nursing services.
  • Monitor staff, timecards, equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Recommend to the ADON and Director of Nursing the hiring, promotion, suspension, or termination of nursing service employees.
  • Assist with in-service education programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Investigate and report complaints.
  • Manage the floor in the absence of the charge nurse and assist as needed.
