We are a leading organization devoted to delivering exceptional care to individuals facing substance and alcohol use disorders. Our services cover the entire recovery process, from detox and medication-assisted treatment to rehabilitation and therapy. We are excited to welcome Medical Care Provider to join our compassionate and professional team.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Primary Duties

• Administer medications precisely as prescribed, following nursing standards and physician instructions.
• Educate patients about their medication regimens, document their understanding, and escalate any concerns to the medical team.
• Maintain detailed records of patient care activities, such as admissions, discharges, and external visits, addressing abnormalities promptly.
• Monitor and document detoxification progress, behavioral responses, and patient outcomes, reporting issues to registered nurses or physicians.
• Record and evaluate treatment interventions, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs according to patient treatment plans.
• Participate in data collection and reporting for quality improvement initiatives, including risk management and incident tracking.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Active NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a preference for addiction recovery care.

Skills:

• Proficient in medical documentation and computer systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
• Attention to detail and effective time management.
