Cleaning and Maintenance Aide

Surfpoint Recovery is a leading facility specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders. Recognized as a Center of Excellence, we hold OASAS licensure and CARF accreditation. Our services include inpatient detox, withdrawal management, stabilization, and rehabilitation for those facing substance use challenges. We are currently seeking an Cleaning and Maintenance Aide to join our housekeeping and operations team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized environment across offices, patient rooms, and communal spaces.

Work Schedule Options:

Sunday to Thursday (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Monday, Wednesday to Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Key Duties:

• Organize paper products and chemicals in supply rooms.
• Maintain a clean and stocked housekeeping cart.
• Conduct detailed cleaning such as furniture wiping, ceiling vent dusting, and floor edge vacuuming.
• Perform routine checks and basic care of cleaning equipment.
• Track and manage client clothing for return.
• Follow proper disinfection and infection control protocols.
• Operate machines for carpet extraction and floor scrubbing.
• Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous healthcare environment experience is a plus.
