Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a prominent 5-star skilled nursing facility with 280 beds, located at 99 Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, NY 12401. We are actively seeking compassionate and family-oriented professionals to join our team!

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Patient Care Manager (RN) to work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM. The Patient Care Manager (RN) plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality nursing care is delivered efficiently while overseeing the nursing staff within the assigned unit. This position includes managing resident care through MDS assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluations. Key Duties of the Patient Care Manager (RN):

  • Report any suspected incidents of mistreatment, neglect, or abuse, as well as unexplained injuries.

Patient Care Manager (RN) Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in interpreting facility policies and applicable state laws related to nursing services.
  2. Participate in the facility’s safety initiatives and programs.
  3. Keep the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) updated on nursing activities, needs, issues, and unusual occurrences.
  4. Recommend necessary purchases for nursing supplies and equipment.
  5. Conduct regular checks on staff performance, timecards, equipment, and supplies.
  6. Provide recommendations to the ADON and Director of Nursing regarding hiring, promotions, suspensions, and terminations of nursing personnel.
  7. Assist in developing in-service education programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  8. Investigate and respond to complaints appropriately.
  9. Assume leadership on the floor in the absence of the charge nurse or assistant charge nurse, assisting with daily duties as needed.
