Social Work Case Manager (LCSW)

Surfpoint Recovery is an inpatient drug treatment facility offering clinical professionals opportunities to advance their careers. In this role, you will work closely with other clinicians, nurses, providers, and peer advocates to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to our clients.

The LCSW will supervise LMSWs, guiding their professional development and enhancing their mentoring and leadership abilities.

*This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement, incorporating both in-person and remote responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist LMSWs and clinical staff in ensuring:

• Effective management of a caseload of 8-10 clients
• Daily individual and group counseling sessions
• Creation of individualized treatment plans, crisis interventions, and aftercare strategies
• Compliance with documentation and progress notes
• Adherence to OASAS standards
• Support during weekly utilization reviews based on clinical and administrative protocols
• Preparation for weekly case conferences and reviews
• Supervision of MSW student interns as needed

Requirements:

• Master's degree is required
• Valid New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker in good standing
• SIFI certification preferred but not mandatory (or a willingness to complete a SIFI course)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
