We are currently seeking a Full-Time RN Unit Supervisor (RN) for Monday through Friday shifts from 7 AM to 3 PM. The RN Unit Supervisor (RN) is responsible for ensuring that high-quality nursing care is delivered effectively, while also supervising and coordinating the activities of nursing staff in their designated unit. This role includes managing resident care through MDS evaluations, care planning, and ongoing assessments. Responsibilities of the RN Unit Supervisor (RN) include:

• Reporting any allegations of mistreatment, neglect, or abuse, including injuries with unknown sources.

RN Unit Supervisor (RN) Duties:

1. Help interpret facility policies and state laws related to nursing services.
2. Participate in facility safety programs and procedures.
3. Update the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) on nursing activities, needs, problems, and unusual events.
4. Recommend purchases of necessary supplies and equipment for nursing services.
5. Conduct regular checks on staff performance, timecards, and equipment.
6. Provide recommendations to the ADON and Director of Nursing regarding staffing decisions.
7. Assist with in-service education programs and assess their effectiveness.
8. Investigate and address complaints appropriately.
9. Take charge on the floor in the absence of the charge nurse or assistant charge nurse, supporting daily operations as needed.
