Hiring LPN

We are a healthcare organization committed to providing treatment for individuals affected by substance and alcohol use disorders. Our focus on quality patient care is at the heart of our mission. Our facility offers a comprehensive suite of services, including detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy. We are currently seeking Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team!

As LPN, you will provide nursing care that is tailored to each patient's unique needs, adhering to established nursing standards under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, ensuring safety and timeliness.
• Educate patients about their medications, documenting their understanding and compliance; notify a registered nurse or physician of any abnormalities.
• Record all patient activities, including admissions, discharges, and emergency room visits, alerting the nursing team to any irregularities.
• Monitor and document the detoxification process and patient responses, communicating any concerns to nursing or medical staff.
• Document treatment interventions and the patient's responses, reporting any abnormalities to the registered nurse or physician.
• Collaborate with the treatment team regarding patient progress, ensuring the registered nurse or physician is informed of any issues.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as per the treatment plan.
• Participate in collecting data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, including Census and Incident Reports, reporting any irregularities to nursing or medical staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• Valid certifications in CPR and BLS.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience in addiction treatment.
