The Regional Staffing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our skilled nursing facilities by assisting with staffing, scheduling, and training efforts across multiple locations. This corporate-level position requires frequent travel to provide hands-on support, guidance, and training to local facility-based staffing coordinators. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong communicator, and eager to grow their career in healthcare workforce operations.

As part of the corporate workforce management team, you will help ensure appropriate staff coverage, reduce agency usage, and support scheduling best practices to maintain efficient and quality care delivery across all sites.

Regional Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned facilities to assist with staffing and scheduling support during employment transitions, vacancies, or high-need periods
  • Provide onboarding and training to new facility-based staffing coordinators on scheduling systems, timekeeping procedures, and communication tools
  • Collaborate with facility leadership and corporate teams to ensure accurate coverage of clinical roles such as CNAs, LPNs, and RNs
  • Support the implementation of standardized scheduling practices and assist with adherence to staffing policies
  • Help facilities optimize their use of scheduling software and reduce overtime or unnecessary premium pay/bonuses
  • Assist with reporting on staffing metrics and provide recommendations for improving labor efficiency
  • Communicate regularly with corporate leadership to flag urgent staffing concerns and assist in resolution
  • Ensure documentation and staffing records are accurate, up to date, and compliant with internal policies and regulations
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by corporate workforce leadership

Regional Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in healthcare, staffing, HR, or administrative support (internships or entry-level roles welcome)
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to facilities within the region
  • Comfortable training others and presenting information clearly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI, experience with scheduling software a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required: associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
