We are an organization focused on caring for individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. We are looking for Health Services Coordinators to join our team. The Health Services Coordinator will help clients overcome obstacles to treatment and stay engaged in addiction services. They will exemplify recovery skills and coping strategies while nurturing hope in clients working toward recovery.

Available Shifts:

  • 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with clients in a professional, courteous, empathetic, and supportive manner consistently.
  • Communicate with counselors and nursing staff regarding client concerns and care.
  • Promote positive interactions and conversations among clients and staff.
  • Assist in transporting clients throughout the facility.
  • Ensure clients adhere to their scheduled program activities.
  • Conduct room checks on all clients.
  • Perform census checks every two hours (four times per shift), including after meals.
  • Monitor client behavior for inconsistencies and report to the appropriate staff (Clinical, Nursing, etc.) while including this information in your shift report.
  • Assist in de-escalating situations with clients who exhibit challenging behavior.
  • Oversee linen and laundry management for clients.
  • Keep track of linen supplies and replenish as necessary.
  • Collect dirty laundry and prepare it for housekeeping.
  • Deliver clean laundry back to clients.
  • Search and document the belongings of new admissions.
  • Support staff in screening clients and their property for contraband.
  • Act as a role model for both clients and colleagues!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of related experience.
