Registered Nurse (RN) Duties:

• Assess, plan, and provide nursing care for long-term and rehabilitative care patients
• Ensure care follows the Nurse Practice Act and facility procedures
• Oversee nursing care delivery and make necessary adjustments to patient care plans
• Direct and supervise the care provided by other nursing staff
• Provide input in developing and evaluating nursing standards of care
• Maintain knowledge of required documentation practices
• Operate and maintain nursing equipment
• Protect patient confidentiality and uphold patient rights
• Educate patients and their families or caregivers
• Act professionally and in compliance with facility policies
• Rotate through shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
• At least one year of experience in medical/surgical nursing (acute care or long-term care preferred)
• Active RN license in the state(s) of employment
• Reliable transportation required
