We are seeking Healthcare Nurse LPN to join our dedicated team and help make a meaningful impact.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications safely and efficiently, adhering to nursing and physician guidelines.
• Educate patients on their medication regimen, documenting comprehension and compliance. Notify the registered nurse or physician of any issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and medical visits, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Monitor patients' detoxification progress, documenting responses and addressing any abnormalities with the medical team.
• Provide detailed records of treatments, interventions, and outcomes, escalating issues to the registered nurse or doctor as needed.
• Conduct vital sign checks and withdrawal assessments in accordance with treatment plans.
• Contribute to quality improvement programs by collecting and reporting data such as incident reports and infection control metrics.

Qualifications

Education & Licensing:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.

Experience:

• Two years of nursing experience preferred, particularly in addiction treatment.

Skills:

• Proficient with medical documentation and computer systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
