We prioritize the needs of our patients, offering comprehensive services from detox and medication-assisted treatment to rehabilitation and recovery therapy. We are looking for motivated Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse to bring their skills and compassion to our team.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications following nursing standards and physician directives.
• Provide patient education about medications, documenting their understanding and compliance. Escalate abnormalities to registered nurses or physicians.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient activity, including admissions, discharges, and medical visits. Report concerns promptly.
• Monitor and document detoxification progress and patient behavior, addressing irregularities as required.
• Record treatment plans, interventions, and patient responses, escalating any issues appropriately.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to track and enhance patient progress.
• Perform withdrawal assessments and check vital signs based on treatment plans.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through accurate data collection and reporting.

Qualifications

Education & Licensing:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Active NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Valid CPR and BLS certifications.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of nursing experience, with addiction treatment experience preferred.

• Proficient with technology and medical documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
