We are an organization dedicated to the care and treatment of individuals struggling with substance and alcohol use disorders. We are currently looking for Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role, Patient Services Coordinator will support clients by minimizing barriers to treatment and maintaining their engagement in addiction services. They will demonstrate skills in recovery and coping strategies while fostering hope and inspiration for clients on their recovery journey.
Shifts Available:
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with clients in a professional, courteous, empathetic, and supportive manner at all times.
Communicate regularly with counselors and nursing staff regarding client care and concerns.
Promote positive interactions and dialogues among clients and staff.
Assist in transporting clients within the facility.
Ensure clients follow the program activity schedule.
Conduct regular room checks for all clients.
Perform census checks every two hours (four times per shift), including after meals.
Monitor client behavior for inconsistencies and report to appropriate staff (Clinical, Nursing, etc.), including this information in your shift report.
Assist in de-escalating situations involving clients exhibiting challenging behaviors.
Oversee client linen and laundry.
Manage linen supplies and replenish as necessary.
Collect dirty laundry and prepare it for housekeeping.
Deliver clean laundry back to clients.
Search and document belongings of new admissions.
Support staff in screening clients and their possessions for contraband.
Serve as a role model for clients and colleagues!
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of relevant work experience.

Strong communication abilities.
