Urban Recovery specializes in caring for individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility offers a comprehensive range of services, including detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy. We are currently seeking Full-Time and Part-Time LPN/LVN to join our team!

As LPN, you will provide nursing care tailored to the specific needs of clients, applying recognized nursing techniques and standards under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role allows you to collaborate with other dedicated professionals while enhancing your clinical skills!

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Primary Duties:

• Administer medications following Safe Nursing Practice standards and physician orders.
• Educate patients about their medications, documenting their responses and compliance; notify the registered nurse or physician of any abnormalities.
• Log all patient activities such as admissions, discharges, transfers, and emergency room visits; report any issues to the registered nurse or physician.
• Document the patient's detoxification progress and behavioral responses; communicate concerns to the registered nurse or physician.
• Record all treatment interventions and the patient's responses; alert the registered nurse or physician to any irregularities.
• Collaborate with the treatment team regarding patient progress, reporting any concerns to the registered nurse or physician.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Collect data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, including census, Kardex, risk management, incident reports, infection control, and medication events; notify the registered nurse or physician of any issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• At least two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience in addiction treatment.
