Clinical Specialist LPN

At Surfpoint Recovery, we are dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility provides a continuum of care, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and therapy. We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our committed team.

LPNs deliver nursing care tailored to clients' needs under the supervision of registered nurses. This role provides opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals and grow clinically.

Shift Options:

• Full-time: Three 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Part-time: Two 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM)

Primary Duties:

• Administer medications as prescribed and educate patients about their use.
• Record patient activities and progress, reporting irregularities to RNs or physicians.
• Monitor detoxification and note behavioral changes.
• Communicate with the treatment team to support patient recovery.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and vital sign checks.
• Collect and report data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs.

Qualifications:

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Active NY State Board of Nursing License with current CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience; addiction care experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency with computers and strong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
